A Letter From the CEO

As we move through 2024, the pace of change in maritime logistics is more intense than ever. The complexity and variability in maritime transportation continue to create stress on the global economy and our customers, with challenging years expected ahead.

This scenario amplifies our mission at Voyager: helping customers predict and optimize their shipping costs. 

Achieving this requires robust data collection and analysis across each stage of a voyage. That is why in 2024 we have made significant R&D investments on the platform, extensively improving our voyage management and demurrage capabilities, and redesigning the way we display Voyager to the market.

Demand Planning

Developed in collaboration with our customers, this module allows clients to track cargo demands and match them with available vessels, manually or automatically. In doing so the platform will identify bundling opportunities or optimal vessel combinations based on delivery and laycan constraints.

In the future, we plan on developing dynamic forecasting capabilities that incorporate the latest market trends along with our customer’s fleet of COA or TC vessels.

Cost Management

Ensuring you have a complete end-to-end view of your planned and actual costs is critical for charterers. Our platform now provides customers with greater granularity and control of how costs are tracked, prorated, or shared amongst multiple internal business units or external customers.

Our goal is to provide customers with detailed fully landed cost models that can be tracked on a per cargo, customer or unit basis.

Demurrage

In 2024 Voyager has seen tremendous growth in its demurrage platform which can be licensed stand-alone or bundled with Voyage Management. This solution brings together the latest in AI, contract digitization, and automation to help customers reduce their demurrage bill and increase team productivity by over 25%.

New Website

We also recently launched a new website experience, with a cleaner, more intuitive interface that makes navigation easier across the different Voyager features and modules, and a new Interactive Voyager Tour that walks you through how Voyager simplifies the demurrage process.

For the rest of 2024 and 2025, our customers can expect to see rapid developments in our solution, including the integration of GenAI and machine learning to support daily operations in the demurrage management process. These advancements will structure data more effectively, allowing for more precise decision-making when negotiating demurrage claims, and optimizing workflows to increase efficiency at every step.

I am excited to see these latest product and website iterations released to the market. It demonstrates the depth and breadth of solutions we are providing to the industry whilst also reinforcing our focus on servicing our core customers.
